So I have definitely been off my blog "game" and I apologize to you avid followers -- BUT, the good news is . . . I've got lots of images stocked up for sharing over the winter months! I have recently been busy getting images out the door to clients, scheduling and attending meetings with next years couples, planning out my 2016 goals list, working my weekday Real Estate Photography job, annnnd gearing up for winter, all while working on the house with Darin. And honestly, so so much more. I am thrilled and incredibly excited to share some home updates with everyone including before and after pictures!!! That will come VERY soon :)
But before that, I want to share a one of a kind wedding with you. Jon and Ashley came to me about 2/3 years ago asking for wedding photography quotes. A few emails back and forth we set up a meeting date and they decided to seal the deal and sign up with me! I took their Engagement photos in a beautiful park in St. Cloud during the summer of 2014 and quickly came to realize how sweet of a couple they are. I have known Ashley for years -- we actually met on the school bus . . . crazy, right? Little did we both know we would be chatting wedding dresses, decor & locations a few years later.
When their big day finally arrived I was eager to see the whole day in it's entirety; planned, decorated, organized and in total bloom. And boy was the day ever in it's fullest of blooms -- the temperature that bright September day reached what felt like 95 degrees! Bug Bee Hive Resort was buzzing with excitement ( pun intended ) and everyone was carefully prepping for the hours ahead when I arrived.
As I witnessed the day unfold I was in awe of how lovingly Jon would look at Ashley, it was like he just knew how to be the most amazing groom to his bride.
My favorite part about a wedding day is not only getting to take part in and photograph everything behind the scenes, but to actually see the love between a bride and groom -- this was something that was completely raw and evident on September 5th, 2015. As you scroll through bits and pieces of their special day, I think you might just agree with me.
